Introduction

The stable isotope laboratory at the Institute of Geology has been
established during 2008 and is fully operational since 2009.

The mass spectrometry and analytical facilities are available to the
Geosciences at Leibniz Universität Hannover. We also provide stable
isotope analyses for scientific research projects on a sample fee
basis for outside users. At current, the Thermo delta V mass
spectrometer is configured for rapid automated high precision isotope
ratio analyses of dD, d18O, d13C on hydrogen, oxygen, and
carbondioxide generated from a wide array of geological sample
materials.
